How to create a calendar
Zoho CRM does not include a native scheduling calendar. To create a real one with availability and booking links, you need Zoho Bookings, Zoho's scheduling product. The process requires creating a service and configuring your availability. In Teeo, one message sets everything up in seconds.
How to do it in Teeo
“Create a sales calendar available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm with 45-minute meetings”
Your calendar is configured with available times and the link to schedule meetings.
How to create a calendar in Zoho CRM: step by step
Requirements
- ·Zoho CRM has no native scheduling calendar. To create a booking link you need Zoho Bookings, a separate product in the Zoho ecosystem. It's included in Zoho One and some Zoho CRM Plus plans.
- ·If you only have standard Zoho CRM, you'll need to activate Zoho Bookings separately. It has a free plan with up to 1 service and basic features.
- ·Alternatively, you can sync Zoho CRM with Google Calendar under Setup > Google > Calendar Sync to see activities, but this does not create an external scheduling link.
Access Zoho Bookings
Go to bookings.zoho.com or from the Zoho apps panel (accounts.zoho.com) find 'Zoho Bookings' and click 'Open' or 'Activate'. If you have Zoho One it's already included. Otherwise, start the free trial from the Zoho Bookings page.
Complete the initial account setup
If this is your first time accessing it, Zoho Bookings will ask you to complete a setup wizard. Enter your business name, time zone (e.g., America/New_York), and language. Click 'Save and continue'.
Go to the 'Services' section
In the left sidebar of Zoho Bookings, click 'Services'. This is the section where you'll create the available meeting types. Services are equivalent to the appointment types your clients can book.
Create a new service
Click the '+ Add Service' or 'New Service' button at the top right. A form will open to configure the service. Enter the service name, for example 'Sales Meeting'.
Set the meeting duration to 45 minutes
In the 'Duration' field, select or type '45' minutes. You can also configure buffer time between appointments (e.g., 15 minutes) in the 'Buffer Time' field to avoid back-to-back meetings without breaks.
Assign the service to your staff or yourself
In the 'Staff' section of the service form, select your name or the sales rep responsible for attending these meetings. If there is only one user in the account, it will already be selected by default.
Save the created service
Click 'Save' to create the service. It will now appear in your services list. Next you need to configure your hourly availability.
Go to 'Availability' in the Staff settings
In the sidebar, go to 'Staff' and select your profile. Inside the staff profile, find the 'Availability' or 'Working Hours' tab. Here you'll configure the days and hours when you're available for meetings.
Set availability Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm
In the working hours section, enable Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. For each active day, set the start time to '9:00 AM' and the end time to '6:00 PM'. Disable Saturday and Sunday. Click 'Save' to save the changes.
Copy the booking link and share it
Back in the Zoho Bookings dashboard, find your 'Booking Page URL' in the 'Overview' section or within the service settings. This is the link you share with your clients so they can book meetings directly on your calendar.
Frequently asked questions
Does Zoho CRM have a built-in scheduling calendar?
Not directly. Zoho CRM has an Activities module that works as an internal agenda, but it does not generate booking links for clients. To create a real scheduling calendar with availability and links, you need Zoho Bookings, which is a separate product in the Zoho ecosystem.
Is Zoho Bookings included in Zoho CRM or paid separately?
Zoho Bookings is included in Zoho One and Zoho CRM Plus. If you have a standard Zoho CRM plan, you need to activate Zoho Bookings separately. It has a free plan with basic functionality (1 service) and paid plans for advanced features.
Can I sync the Zoho Bookings calendar with Google Calendar?
Yes. Zoho Bookings allows two-way sync with Google Calendar. When a client schedules a meeting in your Zoho Bookings, the event is automatically created in your Google Calendar. The setup is done under Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar within Zoho Bookings.
