How to make a daily appointments report in Pipedrive: step by step
Requirements
- ·Basic Insights is available on all paid plans. Advanced reports with custom fields and shareable dashboards require the Professional plan ($59/user/month) or above.
- ·In Pipedrive, 'appointments' are Activities of type 'Meeting' or the custom type you created for appointments.
- ·The Essential plan has limited access to Insights. For reports with multiple filters and export, the Advanced plan or above is recommended.

Log in to Pipedrive
Go to app.pipedrive.com and enter your credentials. Make sure you have at least the Essential plan active. For advanced reports with custom filters, you will need the Advanced or Professional plan.
Navigate to Insights from the main menu
In the left sidebar, look for the bar chart icon (📊) corresponding to 'Insights'. Click to access the reports and dashboards module. If you don't see the icon, it may be under 'More' at the bottom of the sidebar.
Create a new report
On the Insights screen, click the '+ Add report' or 'Create report' button in the top right. A menu will open with the available report types: Activities, Deals, Leads, and Revenue.

Configure the activity type filter
In the report's filter panel, find the 'Activity type' field. Select 'Meeting' or the activity type you use for appointments in your company. If you use a custom type called 'Appointment', select it from the list.
Configure the date filter: today
Find the 'Activity date' filter. In the range selector, choose 'Today' or set the start and end date to today's date. This will limit the report exclusively to appointments scheduled for today.
Add relevant columns to the report
Click 'Columns' or 'Edit columns' to customize what information the report shows. Add key columns: Contact name, Company name, Activity start time, Assigned user (salesperson), Related deal, Activity notes. Arrange the columns according to your preferences.
Sort the report by time
In the 'Activity time' column header, click to sort the report chronologically in ascending order. This will display the day's appointments in order from morning to evening, making it easier to review the day.
Save the report and add it to a dashboard
Click 'Save report' and give it a descriptive name like 'Daily Appointments'. For quick access in the future, click 'Add to dashboard' and select your main dashboard. You can also export the report to CSV or Excel by clicking the download icon (⬇️) if you need to share it by email.

Can I schedule the appointments report to be delivered automatically by email in Pipedrive?
