Pipedrive vs Teeo

How to block time slots in my calendar

Pipedrive has no direct button to 'block time slots' in its calendar. To block recurring time windows you must adjust availability in the Scheduler or create blocking events in your synced Google Calendar or Outlook, which reflects automatically. In Teeo, one message blocks any time slot in seconds.

How to do it in Teeo

Type or send a voice message to your Teeo assistant:

Block from 2pm to 4pm every Tuesday this month in my calendar

The time blocks are registered. No meetings can be scheduled during those times.

How to do it in Pipedrive?

How to block time slots in my calendar in Pipedrive: step by step

Requirements

  • ·Pipedrive Scheduler lets you define general availability by day and time, but does not allow blocking specific recurring slots (e.g., 'every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm') directly.
  • ·For recurring blocks, the recommended solution is to create recurring blocking events in your synced Google Calendar or Outlook. Pipedrive automatically respects existing events as unavailable.
  • ·If you only need to adjust the Scheduler's available hours (e.g., remove 2pm–4pm from all days), you can edit the Scheduler directly from Tools > Scheduler.
  • ·Changes in the synced calendar (Google Calendar/Outlook) are reflected in the Scheduler in real time.
  1. Log in to Pipedrive

Go to app.pipedrive.com and enter your credentials. Verify that your Google Calendar or Outlook is synced (Settings > Personal preferences > Calendar sync). If it is not connected, do so before continuing.

  2. Open Google Calendar in a new tab

Since Pipedrive does not allow blocking recurring time slots directly, the most efficient approach is to create blocking events in Google Calendar. Go to calendar.google.com in a separate browser tab.

  3. Create a recurring blocking event

In Google Calendar, click on the first Tuesday of this month at 2:00 p.m. A quick creation panel will open. Click 'More options' to open the full event editor.

  4. Set the event as blocking

Title the event 'Blocked — Not Available' or similar. Set the start time to 2:00 p.m. and end time to 4:00 p.m. In the status field, select 'Busy' (not 'Free') so Pipedrive recognizes it as unavailable.

  5. Configure weekly recurrence

In the Google Calendar editor, find the recurrence option. Click 'Does not repeat' and select 'Every week on Tuesday'. In the 'Until' field, select the last day of this month so the block applies only this month.

  6. Save the recurring event

Click 'Save'. Google Calendar will automatically create the blocking event for each Tuesday this month from 2pm to 4pm. These events will sync to Pipedrive.

  7. Verify the sync in Pipedrive Scheduler

Return to Pipedrive. Go to Tools > Scheduler and open your configured Scheduler. Click 'Preview' to see your availability. Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm should now appear as unavailable (grayed out).

  8. Alternative option: adjust availability in the Scheduler

If you prefer not to use Google Calendar, you can edit the Scheduler in Pipedrive directly. Go to Tools > Scheduler, open your Scheduler, and edit the available hours. For example, set Tuesdays as available from 9am to 2pm and from 4pm to 6pm, excluding the 2pm–4pm window. This option applies permanently, not just for this month.

Frequently asked questions

Can I block specific time slots directly in the Pipedrive Scheduler?

Partially. The Pipedrive Scheduler lets you configure available hours by day of the week (e.g., Monday from 9am to 2pm), but does not allow blocking specific recurring windows such as 'every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm' within that range. For more specific and recurring blocks, the recommended solution is to create blocking events in your synced Google Calendar or Outlook.

Do blocking events from Google Calendar sync automatically with Pipedrive?

Yes. Once you sync your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook with Pipedrive (Settings > Personal preferences > Calendar sync), all events marked as 'Busy' in your external calendar are automatically recognized as unavailable in the Pipedrive Scheduler. The sync is in real time.

What is the difference between blocking hours in the Scheduler and creating events in Google Calendar?

Editing the Scheduler in Pipedrive permanently changes the available hours for that booking link (e.g., removes 2pm–4pm from all Tuesdays indefinitely). Creating blocking events in Google Calendar allows more precise and temporary blocks, such as 'only this month' or 'the next 3 weeks', with an end date.
