How to upload documents to the knowledge base
Uploading documents to the knowledge base in Monday CRM requires creating a workdoc or an item in a KB board, attaching the file, and ensuring it is indexed and accessible to the team. Without a native KB, documents are managed from a board's files column or from Monday Docs. In Teeo, you attach the document in the message and it's indexed instantly.
How to do it in Teeo
“Upload this document to the knowledge base [PDF attached]”
The document is indexed in the knowledge base and the assistant can search and cite its content.

Log in to Monday CRM
Go to monday.com and log in. Decide whether you will save the document in a KB board or in a Monday Doc.
Navigate to your Knowledge Base board
If you have a dedicated board as a KB, click on it in the sidebar. If not, create a new one named 'Knowledge Base' from the '+ Add board' button.
Create a new item in the board
Click '+ Add item' at the bottom of the board. Give the item a descriptive name, for example 'Services Manual - PDF'. Press Enter to confirm.
Add a files column to the board
If the board doesn't have a files column, click the '+' button at the end of the header columns. Select the 'Files' column type and name it 'Documents'.
Open the item and attach the document
Click on the created item to open it. In the files column, click '+ Attach file'. Select 'Upload from computer' and choose the PDF or document you want to upload.
Wait for the file to upload
Monday will upload the file to its servers. Upload time depends on document size. For PDFs under 10 MB, upload usually takes less than 30 seconds.
Add description and tags to the item
In the item description field, write what the document is about to facilitate searching. If the board has category or tag columns, classify the document.
Configure board permissions
Make sure the KB board permissions allow your team to access the documents. Go to board settings (gear icon) and adjust visibility to 'Whole team'.
Verify the document is accessible
Ask a team member to search for the document in the board to confirm they have access. Share the direct link to the item if you need to facilitate quick access.
