- ·If you use Calendly integrated with Monday, blocks are also managed from the Calendly panel.
Open Google Calendar
Go to calendar.google.com and log in with the Google account connected to Monday CRM. This is the account whose calendar you use to schedule client meetings.
Navigate to the first Tuesday of the month
In the month or week view, navigate to the first Tuesday of the current month. Click on the 2pm time block to start creating the blocking event.
Create a new blocking event
Click on the 2pm slot on Tuesday. The quick event editor will open. Type a title like 'Blocked - Not Available' and adjust the end time to 4pm.
Configure weekly recurrence
In the event editor, click 'More options' to open the full editor. Find the 'Does not repeat' option and change it to 'Every week on Tuesday'.
Define the monthly recurrence range
In the recurrence settings, select 'Ends on' and choose the last day of the current month. This will create the blocking event only for Tuesdays this month.
Mark the event as busy
In the event settings, verify the status appears as 'Busy' (not 'Free'). This is crucial for the scheduling system not to show those time slots as available.
Save the blocking event
Click 'Save'. Google Calendar will create the recurring event for all Tuesdays of the month from 2pm to 4pm and automatically sync the block with the scheduling system.
Verify the block in Monday and in the scheduling link
Return to Monday CRM and verify that the Calendar View reflects the blocking events. Then open the client scheduling link and confirm that Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm no longer appear as available time slots.
