Frequently asked questions
Can I edit knowledge base articles without republishing them in HubSpot?
Yes, HubSpot lets you save changes as a draft without publishing. Clicking 'Save as draft' saves the changes but the published article continues showing the previous version until you click 'Update' or 'Publish'.
Does HubSpot save version history for knowledge base articles?
HubSpot does not have a native version control system for knowledge base articles. Once you update and publish an article, the previous version cannot be recovered directly from the interface. It is recommended to copy the original content before making significant changes.
How long does it take for an edit to appear in HubSpot's knowledge base?
Changes are published almost immediately after clicking 'Update'. However, if the article is indexed in Google, changes may take hours to days to appear in search results, depending on Google's crawl frequency.
