Requirements

  1. Verify you have access to Freshchat

    The Freddy AI Bot chatbot is configured in Freshchat, not Freshsales. Make sure you have an active Freshchat account. If you don't, go to freshchat.com to create one or activate it from your Freshworks account.

  2. Access your Freshchat account

    Go to yourcompany.freshchat.com and log in with your Freshworks credentials. If you have SSO configured, use the same login as in Freshsales.

  3. Navigate to the Bots module

    In Freshchat's left-side navigation bar, click the 'Bots' or 'Freddy AI' icon. The list of bots configured in your account will open.

  4. Select the bot you want to edit

    Locate the active bot in the list and click its name to open it in the flow editor. If you have multiple bots, make sure to select the correct one based on the channel (web, WhatsApp, etc.).

  5. Access the bot flow editor

    Inside the bot, click 'Edit Bot' or 'Manage Flows' to open the visual conversation editor. You will see the flow diagram with all conversation nodes.

  6. Locate the pricing-related flow

    In the flow editor, find the node or flow that handles pricing questions. You can use the editor's search function or explore the conversation tree manually. The node may be called 'Pricing', 'Prices', or similar.

  7. Click the node to edit it

    Click on the pricing response node to select it. A side panel will appear with the current message content and editing options.

  8. Edit the response text

    In the node's editing panel, locate the text field with the current response and replace it with the desired new content. You can use personalization variables like {{contact.name}} if the editor supports them.

  9. Save the node changes

    Click 'Save' or 'Done' within the node panel to save the changes to that specific message. The flow will show the updated node in the diagram.

  10. Review flows connected to the edited node

    Check the nodes connected after the pricing node to make sure the conversation flow is still coherent with the new response. Adjust any subsequent nodes if necessary.

  11. Publish the bot changes

    Click the 'Publish' or 'Go Live' button at the top of the editor to publish the updated version of the bot. Changes will be immediately visible to users across all channels where the bot is active.
