Requirements

  1. Log in as an administrator in Freshsales

    Go to your Freshsales domain and log in with an account that has administrator permissions. Only admins can modify pipeline settings.

  2. Access Admin Settings

    Click your profile icon or the gear icon in the upper right corner and select 'Admin Settings' to open the configuration panel.

  3. Navigate to the CRM section

    In the left sidebar of Admin Settings, locate and click the 'CRM' section. The CRM configuration subsections will expand.

  4. Select Pipelines

    Within the CRM section, click 'Pipelines' (or 'Deal Pipelines'). You will see the list of all pipelines configured in your Freshsales account.

  5. Select the pipeline you want to edit

    Locate your main sales pipeline in the list and click its name or the edit icon (pencil) on the right to open it in edit mode.

  6. Add the first new stage

    In the pipeline edit view, click '+ Add Stage' at the end of the stages list. A text field will appear. Type the name of the first new stage: 'Negotiation'.

  7. Assign the close probability to the Negotiation stage

    In the percentage field that appears next to the stage name, enter the close probability value for 'Negotiation'. For example, 70%. This value will be used in revenue projection calculations.

  8. Add the second new stage: Contract Signing

    Click '+ Add Stage' again. Type 'Contract Signing' as the stage name and assign its corresponding close probability, for example 90%.

  9. Save the pipeline changes

    Click the 'Save' button to save the new stages. If you need to adjust the order of the stages, drag and drop each one to the desired position before saving.
