Copper vs Teeo

How to create a calendar

Copper CRM has no native booking calendar. To create schedulable availability, users must configure Google Calendar with available times and connect it to a tool like Calendly. Copper only displays activities synced from Google Calendar. In Teeo, a single message sets up the full calendar with a booking link.

How to create a calendar in Copper: step by step

Requirements

  • ·Copper CRM does NOT have a native booking calendar. There is no 'booking' or availability feature within the platform.
  • ·The standard flow is: configure Google Calendar with available times → connect Calendly (or another tool) → share the Calendly link from Copper.
  • ·Google Calendar Appointment Slots is a free alternative to Calendly, available on Google Workspace plans.
  • ·Copper requires active Google Workspace to sync activities with Google Calendar.
  1. Open Google Calendar

Go to calendar.google.com and sign in with the Google Workspace account linked to your Copper CRM. Make sure to use the same account so activities sync correctly with Copper.

  2. Create a new calendar dedicated to sales

In the left panel, click the '+' symbol next to 'Other calendars' → 'Create new calendar'. Give it a descriptive name like 'Sales Meetings' and click 'Create calendar'. This lets you separate sales appointments from the rest of your events.

  3. Configure your time zone

In Google Calendar, go to Settings (gear icon) → 'Settings' → 'Time zone' section. Verify the time zone is correct for your sales team. This setting is critical so that times appear correctly to your prospects.

  4. Create an Appointment Schedule (or Calendly)

Option A — Google Workspace: Click '+ Create' → 'Appointment schedule'. Set the title 'Sales Meeting', select 45-minute duration, and define availability: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Click 'Save'. Option B — Calendly: Go to calendly.com, create an account, and connect your Google Calendar.

  5. Define your available hours

In the Appointment Schedule settings (or in Calendly), set the available days: enable Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Set start time 9:00 AM and end time 6:00 PM. Add a buffer between meetings if needed (for example, 15 minutes of break time).

  6. Configure meeting duration

Make sure each slot duration is set to 45 minutes. In Google Appointment Schedule this is configured under 'Appointment duration'. In Calendly it's configured in the event type settings.

  7. Get the booking link

Google Appointment Schedule: Once saved, a 'View booking page' button appears with the public link. Copy it. Calendly: Your personalized link appears in your dashboard (e.g., calendly.com/your-name/sales-meeting). Copy it from your profile.

  8. Add the link to your Copper profile

Log in to Copper (app.copper.com). Go to your profile or the Gmail signature integrated with Copper. Paste the booking link in your email signature or profile description so prospects can schedule with you directly.

  9. Verify sync with Copper

When someone books a meeting, the event will appear in Google Calendar. Copper automatically syncs Google Calendar events as activities on contact and opportunity records. Verify in Copper that meetings appear linked to the correct record.

Frequently asked questions

Does Copper CRM have a native booking calendar?

No. Copper CRM does not include any native booking or availability calendar feature. To create a sales calendar with a booking link, users must use Google Calendar Appointment Schedules or external tools like Calendly, which sync with Copper through Google Calendar.

Do meetings booked in Calendly automatically appear in Copper?

Yes, indirectly. When Calendly creates an event in Google Calendar, Copper syncs that event and logs it as an activity. However, Copper does not automatically link the meeting to the correct contact record unless the contact already exists in Copper and the email address matches.

Which Copper plan do I need to sync the calendar?

Bidirectional sync with Google Calendar is available on all Copper plans, including Starter. To create Appointment Schedules in Google Calendar, you need a compatible Google Workspace plan (Business Starter or higher).
