Requirements

  1. Log in to Copper as an administrator

    Go to app.copper.com and sign in with your Google Workspace account. You must have admin permissions to access pipeline settings.

  2. Open account settings

    Click the gear icon (⚙) in the bottom-left or top-right corner of the screen to access Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Pipelines section

    Inside Settings, find and click 'Pipelines' in the sidebar. You will see a list of all pipelines configured in your account.

  4. Select the pipeline you want to edit

    Click the name of the main sales pipeline where you want to add the new stages. The edit view will open showing all current stages.

  5. Click 'Add Stage'

    In the pipeline edit view, click the '+ Add Stage' button that appears at the bottom of the stages list. A new blank row will appear to configure the stage.

  6. Name the new stage and assign a probability

    Type the stage name (e.g., 'Negotiation') in the text field. In the Win Probability field, enter the estimated close percentage for that stage (e.g., 60%). Repeat the step to add 'Contract Signing' with its corresponding probability.

  7. Reorder stages by dragging them

    Use the drag handle (⠿) to the left of each stage to reorganize them in the correct sales process order. Place 'Negotiation' before 'Contract Signing'.

  8. Save your changes

    Click the 'Save' or 'Save Changes' button to save the pipeline configuration. The new stages will be immediately available to all users in the selected pipeline.
