How to edit information in the knowledge base

How to edit information in the knowledge base in Close: step by step
Requirements
- ·Close CRM has no native knowledge base. Edits are made on notes within leads.
- ·There is no version history for notes in Close; editing overwrites the previous content.
- ·Only the note's author or an administrator can edit it.
Log in to Close CRM
Go to app.close.com and enter your credentials.
Navigate to the lead where you saved the information
Go to the Leads module and search for the lead you use as a knowledge base repository, for example 'Internal Knowledge Base'. Use the global search bar to find it quickly.
Locate the note you want to edit
Inside the lead, scroll through the activity feed until you find the note containing the information to edit. If there are many notes, use Ctrl+F in the browser to search for keywords.
Open the note's options
Hover over the note until the action menu appears. Click the edit icon (pencil) or the three dots (⋯) and select 'Edit'.
Modify the note's content
The note text field becomes editable. Make the necessary changes: update the information, fix errors, or add new information. Remember there is no version history.
Save the changes
Click 'Save Note' to save the edited version. The note will show the new modification date and time.
Notify the team about the update
Since Close does not automatically notify about note edits, you must inform the team manually. You can add an @mention in a new note or send a message through your internal communication channel.
