Requirements

  1. Log in to Close CRM

    Go to app.close.com and enter your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the lead you use as a knowledge base

    Go to the Leads module in the left navigation bar. Search for the lead designated to store team reference information using the global search bar.

  3. Locate the note you want to delete

    Inside the lead, scroll through the activity feed to find the note with the information to delete. If there are many notes, use Ctrl+F in the browser to search by keyword.

  4. Open the note's options

    Hover over the note. Click the three dots (⋯) or the options icon that appears on hover.

  5. Select 'Delete' and confirm

    Select the 'Delete' option from the dropdown menu. Close will show a confirmation dialog. Click 'Delete' again to confirm. This action is irreversible.

  6. Verify the note was deleted

    Confirm the note no longer appears in the lead's activity feed. If the lead no longer contains relevant information, consider also deleting the lead or archiving the record.
