Requirements

  1. Log in to Close CRM

    Go to app.close.com and enter your credentials.

  2. Search for and open the lead John García

    Use the global search bar at the top of Close. Type 'John García' and click on the result to open their record.

  3. Click 'Add Task' inside the lead

    Inside John García's record, find the 'Add Task' button or task icon in the activities panel. Click it to open the task creator.

  4. Write the reminder description

    In the task text field, write: 'Follow up with John García'. Be specific about the follow-up objective to have context when you receive the reminder.

  5. Set the date: 3 days from today

    In the date selector, choose the date that corresponds to 3 days from today. If today is June 22, the reminder date should be June 25.

  6. Set the reminder time

    Select the time at which you want to receive the notification. It is recommended to set it at the start of your workday (9:00 AM) so it is available early.

  7. Save the Task

    Click 'Save Task' or 'Create Task'. The reminder will be scheduled and will appear in your Close Inbox and in the lead's activity feed. You will receive a notification on the configured date and time.
