Log in to Close CRM as an administrator
Go to app.close.com and enter your credentials. You need administrator permissions to modify pipelines.
Open the settings menu
Click your name or avatar in the upper right corner and select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to Pipelines in settings
In the left sidebar of Settings, find and click 'Pipelines'. You will see the list of pipelines configured in your account.
Select the pipeline you want to modify
Click on the pipeline you want to add stages to. If you only have one pipeline, it will open directly. If you have multiple pipelines, select the correct one.
Review the current Statuses
Inside the pipeline, you will see the list of existing Statuses (stages). Identify the position where you want to add the new stages.
Click 'Add Status'
Find the 'Add Status' or '+ Add' button in the pipeline interface. Click it to create a new stage.
Enter the name of the new status 'Negotiation'
In the text field that appears, type 'Negotiation'. Make sure the name is clear and descriptive for all team members.
Repeat the process for 'Contract Signing'
Click 'Add Status' again and type 'Contract Signing'. Save the change before continuing.
Order the stages and save changes
Drag the new statuses to position them in the correct order within the pipeline. Click 'Save' to save all changes. The new statuses will be immediately available to all users.
