Requirements
- ·Bitrix24's Calendar module is accessed from the 'Calendar' tab in the top navigation. It allows creating personal, group, or company calendars.
- ·For booking availability configuration, Bitrix24 uses CRM > Open Channels or the user's working hours integration set in their profile.
- ·Working hours are defined in My Profile > Working Hours Settings, and determine which times appear available on the shared calendar.
Log in to Bitrix24
Go to your Bitrix24 domain (e.g. yourcompany.bitrix24.com) and enter your credentials. You need access permissions to the Calendar module, available from the free plan.
Access the Calendar tab
In Bitrix24's top navigation bar, click 'Calendar'. If it's not immediately visible, look for the grid icon or 'More' menu to find it. The main calendar view will open.
Click '+ Add Calendar'
In the left panel of the calendar view, scroll down to the 'My Calendars' or 'Calendars' section. Click the '+ Add Calendar' button or the '+' icon next to the section to create a new calendar.
Define the calendar name
In the form that appears, type the name of the new calendar in the 'Calendar name' field. For example: 'Sales Calendar'. This name will appear in the calendar list and be visible to participants.
Select the calendar color
Choose a representative color for the calendar from the available color palette. The color helps visually distinguish events from this calendar from others when displayed in the unified view.
Add participants or share the calendar
In the 'Members' or 'Participants' field, search for and add team members who should have access to this calendar. Set whether they have read-only or editing permissions.
Save the calendar
Click 'Save' to create the calendar. It will appear in the 'My Calendars' list in the left panel and will start showing events according to the configured colors.
Configure working hours in your profile
To define availability Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, go to your profile photo (top right corner) > 'My Profile' > 'Working Time' tab. Set your working days and hours. This configuration affects which time slots appear available when others try to schedule with you.
