How to block time slots in my calendar
Bitrix24 does not have a 'block time slot' button. To block 2pm to 4pm every Tuesday you must create a recurring event in Calendar, mark it as 'Busy', and set weekly repetition with an end date. The process takes 10 to 15 minutes. In Teeo you simply state the time slot to block.
How to do it in Teeo
“Block from 2pm to 4pm every Tuesday this month in my calendar”
The time blocks are registered. No meetings can be scheduled during those times.
How to block time slots in my calendar in Bitrix24: step by step
Requirements
- ·Bitrix24 does not have a dedicated 'block time' feature. The correct approach is to create events in the calendar and mark them with the 'Busy' status.
- ·For recurring blocks (e.g. every Tuesday), you must configure event repetition in the editor: Repeat > Weekly > select Tuesday > define month-end date.
- ·Events marked as 'Busy' prevent the calendar from showing those hours as available to other users who try to schedule.
Log in to Bitrix24
Go to your Bitrix24 domain and enter your credentials. Make sure you log in with the account whose calendar you want to block.
Access the Calendar tab
In the top navigation bar, click 'Calendar' to open the main calendar view. Locate the first Tuesday of the current month in the week or month view.
Click on the 2pm slot of the first Tuesday
In the week or day view, click directly on the 2:00 pm cell of the first Tuesday of the month. The quick event creation form will open.
Open the full event form
In the quick form that appears, click 'More' or 'Edit event' to open the full event editor. This gives you access to all configuration options.
Define the title and time range
Enter a descriptive title like 'Blocked — Not Available'. Confirm the start time is 2:00 pm and end time is 4:00 pm. The calendar will use this range to mark your availability.
Set the status to 'Busy'
Find the 'Status' or 'Show as' field in the event form. Select the 'Busy' option. This setting is key: it tells the system you are not available during that time slot.
Enable weekly repetition
In the 'Repeat' or 'Recurrence' section of the form, enable repetition. Select 'Weekly' and check the 'Tuesday' day. This will automatically create the event every Tuesday.
Set the end date to the end of the month
In the 'End date' or 'Until' field of the recurrence settings, select the last day of the current month as the end date. This ensures the block applies only during the current month and not indefinitely.
Save the recurring event
Click 'Save' to create the recurring event. Bitrix24 will automatically generate a 2pm to 4pm block every Tuesday of the month. These blocks will appear as 'Busy' in your calendar and restrict availability for bookings.
Frequently asked questions

Do events marked as 'Busy' in Bitrix24 prevent others from scheduling appointments?

Can I delete only one occurrence of a recurring event in Bitrix24?
Yes. When you click on a recurring event in Bitrix24, the system will ask whether you want to edit or delete only that occurrence or all future ones. You can choose 'Only this event' to modify only one specific Tuesday block without affecting the others.
